Meet Shafiah Khabeerah, MBA, MSC, Certified Trauma Informed Practitoner
As the daughter of a pastor, I grew up watching my parents serve tirelessly — opening our home, giving their all, and often neglecting their own well-being. I learned early that ministry can be both a calling and a burden when trauma goes unaddressed.
My father’s sudden passing from a brain aneurysm — which I believe was stress-related — opened my eyes to how deeply unhealed pain impacts how we lead. My own journey mirrored his: I faced racism, sexism, and spiritual trauma within the church, and later, public humiliation while being trained for ministry. For nearly a decade, I couldn’t attend a service without having an anxiety attack.
Today, as a Trauma-Informed Leadership Practitioner and clinical mental health counselor-in-training, I help pastors, leaders, and faith-based organizations heal from the inside out. I believe the next great revival will not come from louder sermons, but from healed hearts.
Because the promise of Jesus is powerful — but people also need to see His love through how we lead.
My Educational Background
I am a Certified Trauma-Informed Leadership Practitioner, Life Mastery and Holistic Wellness Coach, and founder of The Healed CEO™—a leadership development and wellness brand dedicated to helping individuals and organizations heal, lead, and thrive from the inside out.
With over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience and an MBA in Organizational Development, I combine my deep business insight with my clinical training in mental health counseling. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I will become provisionally licensed as a Professional Mental Health Counselor in Texas in January 2026.
